Vitamin E is an antioxidant that plays a key role in optimizing sperm and male fertility.
- Decreased sperm DNA damage: Vitamin E scavenges free radicals, thereby reducing oxidative stress and improving sperm health. It is well known that high levels of sperm DNA damage is associated with increased risk for miscarriage, poor fertilization, and IVF failure. A landmark research study has shown that men taking Vitamin E supplements daily for 2 months had an almost 60% decreased in sperm DNA damage.
- Improved pregnancy rates: Research study demonstrated that men with low sperm motility who took Vitamin E supplements not only had improved sperm motility but also a 21% improvement in pregnancy rate compared to zero pregnancies in the placebo group.
- Combination therapy: Vitamin E is often used in combination with other antioxidants in research trials, such as selenium and Vitamin C (both of which are included in our formula) to optimize its effects on semen parameters and male fertility.
